COACH/TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS:
"This award goes to the athlete who was a great leader on and off the field this year for Storm. Her role started before the season working to recruit and encourage many O-M athletes to play softball. Once the season started, she was a daily leader in running warm-ups and helping keep things organized throughout practices/games. She was looked up to for her ability to relate to and help others on the team no matter their role. If a player was out for a period of time, this player would go out of her way to help catch that player up on the information that was missed while they were out. Her play and hard work ethic set an example for others to follow. She worked with the coaching staff to keep the us informed about and concerns or issues that arose during the season. This leader was a huge reason for our successful Storm softball season. This year's Coach's Leadership Award goes to Lauren Signor."
