Our one on one college planning program is designed to increase confidence, decrease stress, and support you as you find your perfect fit! The process can be a roller coaster, and we're the constant in your corner as you face the high highs and low lows of it all. Quincy's experience, background, and connections will help your process go as smoothly as possible when she's just a text or phone call away!

athletes immediately receive:

- Consistent access to Quincy as things come up
- Supporting your connections with college coaches
- Support on what opportunities (camps, events, travel teams, etc.) to invest in
- Immediate access to all of our resources, guides, and videos
- A profile on our website with video (we edit) to use as they market themselves to coaches
-Email template creation, email schedule, and draft editing as needed
- A list of schools to research based on what they’re looking for (this of course can and probably will change over the years!)

as a freshman/8th grader:

As spring sport athletes, we only get 3 summers to connect with coaches in high school, as the summer after senior year coaches are already done with that senior class. While it feels early to start as a freshman or 8th grader, there are important things you can be doing to become a confident and prepared prospective student-athlete!

As a freshman/8th grader, your job is to stay on coaches’ lists and gain confidence in the process so once you’re an upperclassman and it really matters you’ve already made your mistakes, gotten comfortable in new situations, and are ready to focus on connecting with coaches rather than your nerves.

Our freshmen/8th graders are:
- Learning how to camp and speak with coaches in person
- Beginning to create good email habits
- Starting to learn what they're looking for in a school
- Connecting with and learning from our older high school and college athletes
- Putting together initial videos

As a sophomore:

Sophomore fall is when it starts to get real! It is the last time D2 coaches will see you play before they can talk to you on June 15th. DI coaches are also beginning to identify their top athletes to follow throughout the summer leading up to their Sept 1st of junior year contact date.

Our sophomores are:
- Attending more strategic camps to connect with realistic schools and coaches
- Sending emails regularly on a schedule
- Separating their initial schools list into dream/realistic/back up plan schools
- Starting to hone in on their academic interests/possible future majors
- Connecting with D3, Junior College, and NAIA schools who can communicate with them
- Updating videos

as a junior:

Junior year will look different for each athlete depending on what they’re looking for academically and what level they’re targeting athletically. We have had athletes who commit September of junior year all the way to January of senior year.

- This is when communicating with (instead of to) coaches becomes important as you start to invest more in some relationships than others

Our juniors are:
- Attending very specific camps based on what schools are showing them interest
- Most will go on unofficial/official visits in the winter/spring of junior year to start narrowing down their list of schools
- We start to differentiate communication based on the interest level from the school

- Updating videos

As a senior:

(Who joined programming BEFORE
January 1 of Junior Year)

If an athlete hasn’t committed before senior year, our goal for them is to have 3-5 solid options to choose from and compare as they make their final decisions - no panic committing here!

Our seniors are:
- Finishing up their visits, comparing financial aid packages, and making final decisions
- Communicating with their college coach, finding a roommate, and navigating other unknowns of being a college athlete
- Updating videos if needed

As a senior:

(Who joined programming AFTER
January 1 of Junior Year)

Seniors who join programming this late are squeezing 1-2 years of prep work in less than 6 months. The athlete and family need to put college planning work at the top of the list to play catch up. It is 100% possible to find a home at this point, but it takes a lot of work and usually compromise on the athlete’s part!

Athletes who join programming this late will not have as many options as coaches (Yes, even D3!) are narrowing down their classes going into the summer before senior year. We do our best to help late athletes connect with schools/coaches who are still looking and are a good fit academically/athletically. These athletes usually create two lists - one of schools that are realistic for them to play softball at and another academic only list.
